The city of Largo is a city filled with parks, culture and recreational activities. Located not far from Tampa, this city in Florida can be a great place to not only see a larger city, but also get back to the friendly community of Largo.
1. Enjoy a concert: Each year Downtown Largo offers Sunset Sounds, which is a free concert series located in Ulmer Park during the evenings. Each month has a different style of music, which gives everyone something to enjoy.
2. Check out the market: Harvest Marketplace, found in Ulmer Park, offers a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as many baked goods. There are also arts and crafts for sale and many new products are added each week.
3. Get back to nature: In the City of Largo, the nature parks feature live animal displays in the nature centre and natural hiking paths for everyone to enjoy. The parks include the Largo Central Park Nature Preserve, George C. McGough Nature Park/Center and the John R. Bonner Nature Park.
