Opening times are restricted but even just looking from the outside is a real treat. 4. Filoli Center. Spend a day at the Filoli Center in Woodside, close to Redwood. It is a massive 654 acre estate which was actually built during the first World War and completed in 1919. There are some really interesting buildings with a mansion, Italian inspired Renaissance tea room and even a ‘carriage house’.
5. Recreation Parks. Take a trip to the Bayfront Park, a beautiful are for wildlife, situated on the site of a former landfill rubbish tip. You can really feel that you are at one with nature and there are few people to distract you, although there are lots of animals.
