5 Things You Must Do in Tracy
Tracy, California is a city of about 75,000 people a little more than 60 miles east of San Francisco. Originally a railroad town, Tracy today boasts a wide mix of industry, business and residences.
1. Find a treasure at the City-Wide Garage Sale. In an effort to promote re-using things rather than throwing them out, the City of Tracy provides advertising for the city-wide event to surrounding cities and towns. The event is held each fall, typically in October.
2. Shop at the Tracy Outlet Center. Looking for something new? The Tracy Outlet Center may have what you’re looking for! From Anna’s Linens to Vans, stores in this outlet mall have you covered from tip to toe.
3. Yell “fore!” at the Tracy Golf & Country Club. This 18-hole course has holes that will challenge even the best golfer. The golf course also has a putting green and driving range so you can work on your short and long games before you tee off.
4. Visit a park. Tracy boasts over seventy parks! With good weather for the vast majority of the year, you can’t go wrong by strolling through Evans Park, playing tennis at Larsen Park, or skate the half-pipe at El Pescadero Park.
5. Take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. Why see the town from inside a glass and steel can? Enjoy sunshine and fresh air while taking a leisurely tour of Tracy. Baraha’s Party Rentals in Towson can wheel you about town, or make a wedding or other celebration a day to remember.
