Redmond in Washington is situated between the Cascade mountains and the Puget sound.  It is renowned as a place of luscious greenery and endless parks, but offers something for everyone.  The top 5 things to do in Redmond are:

2. Parks and Recreation.     Take a stroll in one of Redmond’s 21 parks.  Many of these have bike trails or facilities for walkers,  Some even have art sculptures to combine walking or cycling with taking in some art.  

3. Go to the theatre.    Why not have some culture at the Redwood Theater, located in the Redmond Municipal Campus.  With a wide variety of shows, it’s a great opportunity to see something just that little bit different.

4.  Shopping in Redmond Center.    Shop till you drop in Redmond Town Center.  A huge range of shops awaits all, whatever your tastes or budget, so you are sure to find something to suit your pocket.  The cafes and restaurants within the center provide a welcome respite for the foot weary and give you the chance to re-charge your batteries.

5.  Farmers Market.   If you are in Redmond between May and the end of October, then the Farmers Market, which is on every Saturday is a real ‘must do’.  Situated on Leary Way, this market has been thriving for thirty two years and there is a fantastic range of fruit, vegetables and craft items, all if which have been produced in Washington State.
