Best time to visit Orlando

Orlando attracts tourists all year round, but if you want to save up on car rental and hotel deals, the best time to travel is second half of August to early September or between October and December. The peak season in Orlando is from the end of May until mid-August as well as summer and Easter. The weather during summer is hot and humid with afternoon showers from May to August so make sure to bring an umbrella or raincoat if you are planning to go outside.  If you are looking for the best street party in Orlando, make sure to attend the Mardi Gras in Universal which is usually celebrated in February or March.

Driving tips in Orlando

People drive on the right-hand side of the road so you may find it strange if you are used to driving on the left side. Thankfully, the roads are wide in Orlando which makes it easier to drive. Before leaving, make sure to check the Florida traffic laws so you will know the speed limit and other important information.  To avoid getting stuck in traffic, download a traffic app such as Waze and Google Maps so you can find the best route.

Most tourists go to Orlando to visit the Walt Disney World Resort and the best route getting there is via I-4 W.  You can also take the FL-528 W/FL-528 Toll W and I-4 W route or the S John Young Parkway and I-4 W route. Parking wouldn't be a problem since there are parking lots located near the entrance of each theme park.
