Franklin is a nice city located in the state of Ohio, more exactly in Warren County. The history of Franklin goes back to 1796, when the city was founded by General William C. Schenck and named after Benjamin Franklin. Then, Franklin became incorporated as a town in 1814, and as a city in 1951. Since then, Franklin went through many changes until becoming the wonderful city that it is today. Now, there are 11.771 people living in Franklin, according to the 2010 census, on a total area of 9.3 square miles (24.1 sq km). The tourism industry is also starting to blossom, as more and more people come to Franklin to relax and enjoy its numerous recreational and cultural features.

The Franklin Post Office
, also known as the Old Log Post Office, is the oldest facility of the kind in the state, but also the oldest building in Franklin. This historic building was built in 1802 and was added in 1976 to the National Register of Historic Places. If you come here, you will also be able to see a part of the Great Miami River Recreation Trail, which passes just by the post office.

The Franklin Park Conservatory
is a wonderful botanical garden, which was built in 1895.
