San Bruno is a beautiful city in the state of California, United States, located more exactly in San Mateo County. The history of San Bruno goes back to 1849, when the city served as a stop on the Butterfield Overland Mail and was known as Clark's Station. The development of San Bruno started somewhere around 1906, and by 1914 it was already incorporated. Now, there are 41,114 residents living in San Bruno, according to the 2010 census. San Bruno is also a popular tourist destination, as many people come here to enjoy the numerous cultural and recreational opportunities offered by the city.
San Bruno City Park is a great recreational place in San Bruno, where you will be able to relax and enjoy a wide array of amenities. San Bruno Mountain is a wonderful spot in the core of the nature. 'Spot' is actually an understatement, as San Bruno Mountain is the largest urban open space in the whole country, having 3,300 acres of undeveloped space. Here, you will find a variety of wildlife, so the place is perfect for wildlife seeing. There are also numerous hiking trails you can explore.
Cleo's Steakhouse is the eating venue in San Bruno where you will be able to enjoy some of the finest barbecue and Brazilian dishes. This restaurant has been locally nicknamed 'the meat lovers paradise', as the menu features numerous meat specialties. The place is really nice and it has a great atmosphere, so come here to enjoy a great dining experience.
West Coast Cafe is another great restaurant in San Bruno, where the food is tasty, the staff is friendly and the service is impeccable. Its name may not suggest it, but this venue is actually Italian, as it specializes in Italian cuisine.
