8 Most Instagrammable Places to Enjoy Breathtaking Views of Los Angeles

Los Angeles,  also known as the City of Angels, may not be your typical place to go sightseeing. The metropolis is an urban sprawl with high buildings and other infrastructures. However, there are still breathtaking views that you can enjoy if you are in the right place. It's all about finding a good spot where you can sit down, relax, and marvel over the skyline and city views. VroomVroomVroom has listed down 8 places where you can take some cool snapshots of Los Angeles or a take a “selfie” too! So hop in your LA car rental and start snapping some photos. Grand Park

The Los Angeles City Hall comes alive at night as seen from the Grand Park. The colorful fountain adds a dramatic effect to the view. Aside from enjoying the open space, you can also take advantage of the other park amenities including a wading pool, community terrace, and free shows at the event lawn.

Griffith Observatory

Enjoy spectacular views of Los Angeles from the  Griffith Observatory which is located along Observatory Road. You can choose to see different areas by using the telescope – it is like exploring the city from one spot. A trip to the observatory won't be complete without checking out the planetarium and exhibits.

Town Hall

Who would expect that the cityscape view of Los Angeles from the Town Hall is this amazing? The old building can be found in 633 W. Fifth Street, Suite 1220. Take time to go to the highest floor and check out the views.

Baldwin Hills

The vibrant flowers on top of the Baldwin Hills compliment the view of the bustling city. The low mountain range is approximately 14-minute drive away from downtown Los Angeles. Apart from the LA view, you can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Lake Hollywood Park

One of the most iconic landmarks in Los Angeles is the Hollywood sign and the best way you can see this is by driving to Lake Hollywood Park. This is the perfect place to get a “selfie” or photograph with the sign as your backdrop. It is also a popular dog park so make sure to bring your furry friends when you visit this area. Park Row Drive Bridge

Do you know that the freeways in Los Angeles were among the first and oldest in the country? To get an awesome view of the 110 Freeway and Los Angeles skyline, head to Park Row Drive Bridge. Be sure to park your car properly when you decide to go down and take some photos. The best time to shoot is at night because of the colorful light streaks from vehicles passing by.

Getty Center

Enjoy panoramic views of 405 Freeway and the San Gabriel Mountains from the top of the Getty Center in Brentwood. Its hilltop location gives visitors a chance to see the different landscape of Los Angeles. The museum features beautiful gardens, offices, libraries, and galleries so there's enough to explore during your visit to the center.

University City Overlook

The magnificent view of the distant mountains and Universal City from the University City Overlook on Mulholland Drive is something you should witness when you visit Los Angeles. You need to pass by Santa Monica and Beverly Hills to reach Mulholland Drive and it will only take you around 30 minutes to reach the area from LAX.
