Youngstown is a beautiful city located in Ohio, United States. The county seat of Mahoning County, Youngstown has an area of 34.2 square miles and a population of more than 66,900 residents, according to the 2010 census. Situated on the Mahoning River, Youngstown was first founded in 1796. The city was named after John Young, one of its early settlers. In 1848, Youngstown was incorporated as a village, being officially recognized as a city only in 1867. Throughout the years, Youngstown has managed to develop a lot, mostly due to the steel production industry.
