The Knights Play Golf Center is an impressive facility, which spans on no less than 105 acres. They can either learn how to play, or enjoy the many facilities that the center offers.

Apex lies in the Chatham Railroad network and was incorporated in 1873. It is one of the most intact railway towns in America. The town's motto of “The Peak of Good Living” has come true as it was ranked 14th in the CNN list for top100 small towns of America.

1. Visit Jordon lake State Recreational area: With 12 recreational areas, this place offers something for every kind of traveler. There are many activities to choose from like fishing, hiking, camping, picnic, bird watching, to name  a few. There are two trails in the area each with fabulous views.

2. Visit the historic Downtown Apex: The place has been designated as a historic district in 1994. It has many numbers of historical buildings dating back to 1800's and shows different architectural styles.

3.See the New Hope Valley Railway: Just 10 minutes outside Apex, this delightful train museum offers rides every half and hour from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. every first Sunday of each month.

4. Eat in the Daniel's Pizza Pasta café: Dine in this award winning museum for their NY style pizza and gourmet pasta. They have a very good wine list and are very family oriented and kid friendly.

5. See the unique Out of Kiln: It is a shop with a working studio where pottery and glass works are made and sold. The products are both decorative and useful. The store also offers classes and sells their product in the historical Downtown Apex.
