Ross Ferraro Town Center is a lovely gazebo, made entirely out of wood in the center of Carol Stream. Locals official started in the late 90's to work at a plan to make the village more attractive and the Ross Ferraro Town Center was built in order to make the community more close knit.

Heritage Presbyterian Church is a very important church in the community of Carol Stream. Extremely involved in the village's life, the church organizes special events, picnics, dinners, trips, Easter breakfast and many more activities for its followers. The church also has two important groups involved in the life of the community: HPW - Heritage Presbyterian Women and MICAH - Men in Christ at Heritage. The groups main work is to raise funds and organize missions for charitable organizations.

Carol Stream Park District is the most amazing part of this town, hosting 36 parks and playgrounds including water parks, skate parks, mini golf courses and all kind of facilities for sporting activities for adults and children. Carol Stream is a village in DuPage County, Illinois in the United States of America. It is named after the developer's daughter Carol Stream and was incorporated on January 5, 1959.

1. Cantigny Park: - This park is spread over 500 acres of land and offers golf courses, gardens, and museums. Colonel McCormick built the visitor's center as one of his horse stables. The Center served as the First Divine Museum from the early 1960's until it was opened in 1993. The main gallery and the theater are eye-catching places worth observing.  

2. Lynfred Winery Inc: - The winery is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Chicago. One can purchase some excellently brewed award winning wines in the beautiful carved oak wood bar. The gift shops offer wine accessories and gourmet goodies too. One can also take a stroll and view the magnificent stained glass windows, which are a part of the winery. 

3. The McCormick Museum: - This is a historic museum depicting the country home of a family. Joseph Medill, founder of the Chicago Tribune newspaper, built this house in 1896. The mansion became a museum in 1959. The museum boasts over 12 fireplaces, 13 bathrooms, and 4 staircases. Within the 27 rooms priceless family heirlooms, Chinese and European works of art, and antiques over 400 years old are displayed.

4. Illinois Waterway Visitor Center: - The visitors' center offers you impressive views featuring towboats of mammoth proportions which navigate through the Starved Rock Lock. It is one of eight others on the Illinois Waterway. One can view displays, which cover the waterway from the Illinois, and the Michigan Canal to the present modern locks and dam structures.

5. Morrison Rockwood State Park: - The Park has a beautiful lake named Lake Carlton. Carlton has a stream fed reservoir. It features an abundance of ducks and geese and is also considered a prime location for fishing.
