Fort Lee is a small town in the state of Virginia, with a population of 7269 residents, according to the 2000 census. Fort Lee Virginia is a United States Army post and headquarters of the US Army Combined Arms Support Command. Fort Lee Virginia was built in 1917 and within sixty days some 14.000 men were on the installation. Later on, in 1950 Fort Lee Virginia was reinforced and redesignated. The post became a Class 1 military installation under Second United States Army.

The used cannons and all the other weapons are put on display. The museum shows you a short film to acquaint you with the facts of the Civil War. Then, you can walk around the battlefield, which is amazing. It is truly a place that must not be missed.
