The light of this touristic attraction of Jupiter can bee seen 25 miles at sea. The lighthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
Florida Atlantic University is also called FAU and is a public university with its campuses located in Jupiter and nearby cities. The university opened in 1964 and in the first year had 867 students. In the recent years, the number of students approached 30.000.
