The Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogical Society traces down the roots of the area ever since its earliest times. The Kittanning Citizens Bridge was constructed in 1932, in order to replace the old existing bridge. The bridge has a 47 feet clearance bellow it and provides spectacular views of the city and the surroundings. The bridge carries mainly motor vehicles, but there are clearly delimited pedestrian walks, as well.
