Lower Burrell is a city in Westmoreland County in the US state of Pennsylvania located approximately 18 miles northeast of Downtown Pittsburgh, it is part of the Pittsburgh Metro Area. According to the 2010 census, the population of Lower Burrell was of 11.671 residents.
In 1852 Lower Burrell was carved out of Allegheny Township in Westmoreland County due to an increase in population in the area. Lower Burrell transformed from a quiet, rural farm community to a residential and commercial area. Today, Lower Burrell is a wonderful holiday destination, where you can relax and have a great time.
