Marietta is city located in Washington County, Ohio, United States of America. This town is also the county seat of Washington County. Marietta is located along the Muskingum River. The population of Marietta barely reached the 14.000 residents mark and has an area of 9 square miles. In the late 18th century, families arrived in the great area of what is now Marietta and the city was settled. The sister city of Marietta is another American city - Gautler, Mississippi.
