Montclair Art Museum is one of the few museums in the United States devoted to American art and native American art forms. The collection put on display here at the museum consists of more than 12.000 works. The American collection comprises paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and sculpture dating from the 18th century to the present. The artifacts include cultural achievements in weaving, pottering, wood carving, jewelry and textiles.
Eagle Rock Reservation is located within the community of Montclair. The reservation is named after the Eagle Rock, a bare rock looking down from the mountain. Brookdale Park is a great, relaxing park in Montclair, that is partially forested and partially lawns, with paths going through. Going through the park is a circular, one way road, with three roads leading out of the park.
