The city had in 1870 an area of exactly one acre and Radford E. Morrow donated it to a small settlement that was forming. Spivey Hall is the creation of Emily Spivey who wished to have in Morrow a great music hall. Her dream came true a decade ago when a concert organ completed beautifully the existing music hall of the city.
