Oldsmar is a very charming city located at the oceanside, in the state of Florida, with a total population of 11.910 residents, according to the 2000 census. The history of Oldsmar dates back to 1913, when automobile pioneer Ransom Olds purchased 37.541 acres of land on the northern part of Tampa bay. The name of the area was changed to Oldsmar and it remained this way until today. Nowadays, Oldsmar is developing more and more, thus becoming an important economic and tourist center.
