Driving tips in Redding

Redding sits at the north end of the Sacramento Valley on Interstate 5, equidistant between Seattle and Los Angeles. The travel time from Redding to Sacramento Valley is approximately 2 hours and 24 minutes via rental car. The Sacramento River runs through the center of the city, with Shasta Lake and Shasta Dam on the north side of Redding, Whiskeytown Lake which can be found on the west side, and peripheral access to Mt. There are four major highways in Redding.
