Seal Beach is a city in the state of California, with a total population of 24.168 residents, according to the 2010 census. Seal Beach is located in the westernmost corner of Orange County. Early on in history, the area that is now Seal Beach was known as Anaheim landing , as the boat landing and seaside recreation area was named after the nearby town of Anaheim. Seal Beach became a popular recreation destination in the area, and featured a beach-side amusement park long before Disneyland was founded inland. Seal Beach has also got a wide range of accommodation, venues and hotels, where you can either enjoy a satisfying meal or enjoy a cold or hot beverage.
Seal Beach Historical and Cultural Society is actually a great museum in Seal Beach, that must not be missed. The rare Pacific Electric Tower car built in 1925 now serves as the museum headquarters. it was once a rovbing machine shop sent out to troubleshoot problems.
