Plumb House is a historical building of Waynesboro. It is located at 1012 West Main Street and in our time it is used as a museum. The exact period when the house was raised is not known, but it is supposed to be somewhere between 1810 and 1820. This Waynesboro construction was the home of the Plumb family. This family lived in the house for five generations and was staying the house when the Battle of Waynesboro was fought in the American Civil War in 1865.
