2. Enjoy the great outdoors at the elegant Ellis Lake: Situated in nearby Marysville,  Ellis Lake was designed by John McLaren, who designed Golden Gate Park. If you come to visit Ellis Lake, you can take a walk along the water, have a picnic, or use the pedal boats that are available.

3. Bok Kai Temple: Bok Kai is the only Chinese temple of its kind in the United States. It was built in 1880 by Chinese immigrants who needed a place to worship. To this day, the Chinese population of the area centers on this beautiful work of art.

4. Bicentennial Living Witness Tree: This Valley Oak is over 200 years old, which means it was alive at the birth of our country. A great spot for pictures, reflection, and gathering of friends.

5. Gauche Aquatics Park: This park is a great place for fun for the whole family. It includes competitive-size swimming pools, as well as picnic areas and climbing, and play equipment for younger children. There is even a water slide for the little ones!
