If you are looking into fine dining, you can visit any of the many high caliber restaurants that have made Pensacola their home. McGuire’s Irish Pub and Brewery has named ’steak house of the year’ by the National Beef Council (be careful, you might end up kissing the moose).
Head down to the boardwalk to Crabs for some of the freshest seafood in town straight from the Gulf. When discovering the 300 year old downtown area, it is safe to say not everything can be accomplished in one day. Shopping centers and coffee houses line the downtown streets and if that weren’t enough, you can witness art festivals with dancing, live plays and glass blowing exhibitions at the Belmont Arts Center. Live music is only a quick ten minutes drive to the Pensacola Civic Center where a wide variety of musical artists make regular appearances.

Perhaps you’re looking for something more exciting? Hop in your car and head to famous Pensacola Beach where you can grab a drink from The Dock and spend an afternoon on the sandy shores. The world famous US Navy Blue Angels (right) put on a show for spectators every so often and if you’re lucky enough, you’ll get to feel the fighter jet engines pulse through your body as they whip past. It’s quite a rush!
After the show, head to Seville Quarter, Pensacola’s premier entertainment and dining complex. Here, you will find numerous bars, fine restaurants and clubs in which night life pumps until the early hours of the morning.
