Can I Rent a Car with Cash?
Yes. Here at VroomVroomVroom, some of our suppliers will permit cash payment for car rental once the vehicle is returned but you will still need a credit card during pick up. Please note that this may vary across suppliers and locations so make sure to check their cash payment policies.
For instance, Enterprise Rent-A-Car lets you rent a car with cash provided you meet the locations cash qualification requirements. These include:
Proof of insurance
Two current utility bills
Most recent paycheck stub
Driver’s license issued from the rental state
A minimum deposit plus the entire cost of the rental at the time of pickup (*Deposit amount varies by location from $100 to $300).
Personal references
Keep in mind that most companies will typically be credited back to your account within 15 business days after you return your rental car. Feel free to ask and contact our Customer Care Team if you have any additional questions.

Some suppliers may permit cash as an acceptable form of payment at time of return at most locations, but not at time of rental. Note also that cash used for deposits are returned in the form of a bank check to the renter’s physical mailing address listed on the reservation two (2) weeks after a rental is completed. Suppliers do not provide ACH wire transfers to return cash deposits.
