Customers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued driver's license which includes a photograph of the customer. The driver's license must be valid for the entire rental period. An additional government-issued identification may also be required. Keep in mind that the status of your driver's license can fall into one of four types: valid, expired, suspended and revoked. Your license needs to be valid to be able to rent a car. If your license is not valid, it is either expired, suspended or revoked. Note also that Learner's Permits and photocopies of driver's licenses are not accepted. Also, temporary driver's licenses may be refused if the renting location is unable to otherwise verify the customer's identity or verify the authenticity of the temporary license.
