Bedford is located in the county with the same name, in Pennsylvania. Established as a small village in the middle of the 18th century, under the original name of Raystown, Bedford is now a borough and a county seat. Bedford has a population of approximatively 3,000 people and has had a major contribution to American history, especially for housing famous names and for being one of the designated locations for various armies.
