The Art Theater was built in 1913 and is the home of critically acclaimed independent films and European films. Between 1969 and 1986, the Art Theater showed only adult films. In present, this is the only art theater with a single cinema screen still working in Champaign and in the whole state of Illinois.

Historic Virginia Theater is another movie theater from the mid 20's and it was recently restored to seat about 1600 people. The interiors have a gorgeous Renaissance style and due to its historical importance it does not operate daily, but only for special live plays a few times a month and for special screenings.

Memorial Stadium is a football stadium in Champaign dedicated to the Illinois men that died and dissapeared during World War I and World War II. The stadium is the home of the University of Illinois football team. The first game on the stadium was played in 1923, on November 3rd.

First Presbyterian Church of Champaign was erected in 1867 as a gathering place for the presbyterian congregation. This is the oldest church in town and one of the oldest in the county.
