Ferndale is a small city in Oakland County, located in the state of Michigan. It has a population of 19.900 residents, according to the 2010 census and it is part of the Detroit Metropolitan Area. It is primarily residential, with a small industrial sector in the south-east part of the city. 5. Photographs collection: The Ferndale Museum boasts a collection of over 10,000 photographs. The museum is a real treat as one can see photographs taken from the time the camera was invented.
