Ewing Township is part of Mercer County in New Jersey. This 15.6 square mile city is a suburb of Trenton.  The Delaware River separates Ewing Township from Pennsylvania. Whether you enjoy history or exploring the outdoors Ewing Township has something to keep you amused.

1.  Delaware and Raritan Canal: This canal runs along the eastern banks of the Delaware River through the west end of Ewing Township.  Take some time to watch boats, wildlife, or even go tubing in the canal.

2.  Washington Victory Trail: George Washington’s Army took this trail during the American Revolution on Christmas Day, 1776 to attack the Germans serving in the British Forces and occupying land in Harrisburg, New Jersey.  Walk along this historical path at Jacob’s Creek Road where it begins in Ewing Township.

3.  Benjamin Temple House: Benjamin Temple, an early settler and farmer, built this Georgian style farmhouse in 1750 along route 31.  The home was moved to its current location, Federal City Road, in 1973 due to construction of Interstate 95.  The home is headquarters for the Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society and is open for tours by appointment.

4.  Mountain View Golf Course: This 18 hole, 72 par public course will provide an enjoyable golf outing for golfers of all levels.  The clubhouse received national recognition in 2007 by Golf Magazine.

5.  Municipal Complex Park: This is the newest of all of the parks in town.  In this 40 acres park there are 3 soccer fields, a ½ mile track, as well as hiking trails.  Pack and picnic lunch and bring your running shoes for an afternoon of fun.
