Chambersburg is a lovely borough located in the state of Pennsylvania, more exactly in its South Central Region, being at the same time the county seat of Franklin County. Chambersburg is 13 miles away from Maryland and 52 miles from Harrisburg, so its close proximity to these large cities allowed for a great development. The Capitol Theatre Center was opened in 1927, and it has been providing spectacular performances done by the Chambersburg Community Theatre ever since, but many other events, as well. A particularly interesting fact about this theatre is that it is one of the few theatres in the country that still have their original organ, that is a Möller theatre pipe organ.
