Diamond Peak is a small ski resort located in Incline Village, northwest of Tahoe. The idea of developing such a Tahoe attraction belonged to Art Wood and his associate Harold Tiller. They initially named the project Ski Incline. Their dream came true with the help of Austrian ski resort consultant Luggi Foeger, who designed and built this beautiful resort near Lake Tahoe. The popular attraction opened in 1966, in November.

Tahoe Rim Trail is a famous hiking trail of 165 miles that can be enjoyed around Lake Tahoe, through the Sierra Nevada mountains, passing through Carson City and reaching both states - Nevada and California. The trail was developed since 1978, when a recreation officer in the area of Tahoe proposed it. The touristic attraction was completed in 2001 and all the work was done by volunteers.
