Boulder is also a great getaway to regenerate amidst the peace and quiet of nature. Relax at Boulder Falls (right), a short distance up Boulder Canyon from Canyon Boulevard.

Experience the wildlife, plants and the history of Boulder Mountain Parks. Boulder is surrounded by a wonderful greenbelt with 120 miles of trails. The Bobolink Trail and the Marshall Mesa Trail are popular with locals.

Boulder Creek flows through the city and beautiful Boulder Canyon is ideal for rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, river rafting or even just a scenic drive, beginning only half a mile from downtown Boulder.

Families can enjoy picnics at Boulder creek, as well as fishing, kayaking tubing and swimming. See Boulder's spectacular open spaces up high in a hot air balloon! World- class rock climbing is found in nearby Eldorado Canyon.
