What is the Minimum Age to Rent an RV in the United States?
While the terms and conditions are different for each RV rental company in the United States, the minimum age is generally 21 years old. Young drivers who are aged between 21 and 24 may be subject to an additional daily fee, and may not be able to rent certain larger vehicles.
In certain cases, RV rental companies may allow drivers who are aged over 18 years to rent a campervan, but may require that the renters take out additional insurance cover.
Most companies do not enforce maximum age limits to rent a campervan in the United States.
