Kennewick is a small, yet charming city in the southeastern part of the Washington State. It is the most populous of the three cities collectively referred to as the Tri-Cities, the other two being Pasco and Richland. Kennewick is located along the southwest bank of the Columbia River, opposite Pasco and just south of the confluence of the Columbia and Yakinma Rivers. Kennewick has a total population of 73.917 residents, according to the 2010 census. Columbia Park, Kennewick is a wonderful park, anchored by the cable bridge at one end and the Columbia Park West boat launch at the other. The park has 4.5 miles of shoreline and hosts two additional boat launches, a family fishing pond, the Playground of Dreams, the adjacent splash park, and acres of grass with multiple playgrounds. You can feed the geese, ducks and the seagulls at the bird pond, or take your golf clubs and hit the nearest golf club. You can also rent a bike and ride one of the trails that cross the park.

Canyon Lakes Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course, which has been built on rolling terrain. It is a great place to practice your golfing skills, as both a novice and an expert. The venue offers you everything you need. There are even restaurants that offer you a satisfying meal, and snack bars, where you can enjoy a hot or cold beverage. The golf course also offers children a mini-golf course, where they themselves can have lots of fun.

Wine Tasting and Tours. As you drive through the Tri-Cities, you will certainly notice a lot of vineyards. Why not take a break and visit one of the vineyards? Wine is one of the region's greatest treasures. Winery tasting rooms are open year round. Many offer additional amenities such as picnic facilities and gift shops.
