Newton is a lovely city in the state of Massachusetts, United States, located more exactly in Middlesex County and being bordered by Boston, so it is also considered a suburban city. The history of Newton goes back to 1630, when the area was settled and named Cambridge. Later on, it became incorporated as a town in 1688 and then its name was changed to Newton in 1766. In 1873, Newton was finally chartered as a city and its development started to boom. Now, there are 85.146 people living in Newton, according to the 2010 census, making it the 11th largest city in Massachusetts.
