Heber is a small American city located in Wasatch County, in the state of Utah. Heber has a population of only 7000 residents and it was founded by English emigrants. In the late 1850s, the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints established in the area and this is when Heber was settled. Heber is also the county seat of Wasatch County. The city bases its economy on tourism, so it boosts of wonderful attractions. If you want to visit Utah, Heber is a great choice, because you cannot get bored in a city like this.

Wasatch Stake Tabernacle
was built between 1887 and 1889 under the guidance of architect Alex Fortie. This was the meeting house for theLatter Day Saints until 1965. The tabernacle has a capacity of 1500 seats and due to its importance in the history and the heritage of Heber, it was added on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. The building was made with red sandstone brought from Lake Creek and it was initially heated with potbelly stoves. Upgrades were made in 1928 and in 1954. It was sold to the city of Heber in 1980 and now it is a community hall.

Heber Amusement Hall
was built in 1908 from sandstone, thanks to a lot of volunteer work. The building was designed by architect Watkins and it was added on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. This is the community and civic center of the county.

Heber Valley Historic Railroad
is a heritage railroad which operates between Heber and Vivian Park, Provo Canyon. The line was used until 1967 and in 1970 reopened for tourist use and is now in the property of an NGO which manages its operations. It has special train rides and is a great attraction of Heber.
