Fort Monroe is one of the most important historical sites in Virginia, United States. Located in Hampton, in Old Point Comfort, Fort Monroe is a place with a rich cultural and military history. Fort Monroe was built between 1819 and 1894, as a military stone area, having a surface of 565 acres.
